Resurrection

Jesus Christ spoke time and again about resurrection but denominational Christianity doesn't want to lend credence to the manner in which resurrection is presented and carried out.

REMINDER:  We do NOT go to Heaven when we die.Everyone who has ever lived and died is still dead. Everyone who has lived and died is still dead! They are awaiting what the Scriptures call the Resurrection. The Resurrection takes place, at long last, after a point in time when dissensions of all kinds directly affecting the earth, mankind, governments, economy, weather,etc, called The Great Tribulation occurs.

In chapter 20 of Revelation, after an angel descends from Heaven, seizes the Dragon and throws him in the abyss for a thousand years the first resurrection takes place.

                             Revelation 20:4-6

                             And I saw thrones, and there were those who sat down on them, and power

                             of judging was given them/ Yes, I saw the souls of the executed with the ax

                             for the witness he bore to Jesus, and for speaking about God, and those who

                             had worshiped neither the Wild Beast nor its image and who had not received

                             the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand. And they came to life and

                             ruled as kings with  the Christ for a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did

                             not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first

                             resurrection. Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection;

                             over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God

                             and his Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.

In verse 5 the part that says that  that that the rest of the dead do not come to life until the thousand years were ended has been perceived to mean that no other resurrections take place until the end of the thousand years is wrong. It means that unlike the first people who were resurrected and over whom the lake of fire or the second death have no authority, those resurrected next have to be led by Christ and his kings and .priests to the waters and trees of life. They then have to pass the ultimate test of not following the satanic into war against Heaven.
